讓我們一起來親近天父—先求祂的國和祂的義。

『 像 我天父的眼光 』

感謝 神，今年的畢業典禮可以照常舉行，並且能夠在中正樓。

今年中原學生團契的畢業生感恩差派禮拜，也能如期舉行，

而且，我負責差派禮之前的「分享」

（「分享」是基督徒的術語，意思就是講幾句話勉勵畢業同學）

這讓我想起，幾年前我同樣在面對畢業生時，

我用一首Amy Grant的歌，來勉勵畢業生，

歌名叫做：My Father’s Eyes 歌詞是：

I may not be every mother’s dream for her little girl,

And my face may not grace the mind of everyone in the world.

But that’s all right, as long as I can have one wish I pray:

When people look inside my life, I want to hear them say,

She’s got her father’s eyes,

Her father’s eyes;

Eyes that find the good in things,

When good is not around;

Eyes that find the source of help,

When help just can’t be found;

Eyes full of compassion,

Seeing every pain;

Knowing what you’re going through

And feeling it the same.

Just like my father’s eyes, my father’s eyes, my father’s eyes ……….

歌詞中的Father，當然是指我們的 天父。

歌詞中，Amy Grant說「我的長相沒有很美，….但我有一心願，

當人們看見我的生命時，我願他們說，

『她的眼，像她的天父，她的眼像她的天父…。

因為她能在良善不在時，仍然看見事物的美好；

在無助之處，看見救恩的源頭；以同情，看見每個苦痛；

瞭解你的經歷，體會你的感受；

就像是她天父的眼光一樣，就像她天父的眼光一樣。………..

And on that day when we will pay for all the deeds we have done,

Good and bad they’ll all be had to see by everyone.

And when you’re called to stand and tell just what you saw in me,

More than anything I know, I want your words to be,

She had her father’s eyes,…….

當有一天我們所做的一切都要被檢驗，

不論好壞都將攤開在所有人的面前，

而你被要求站出來，說出你在我身上所看到的，

我最希望你所說的是，『她有像她 天父的眼光，她有像她 天父的眼光….。』

很美的歌詞，很深的提醒。

在這已充滿扭曲眼光的世界，願你我透過禱告，尋求 天父的眼光。

能在良善不在時，仍然看見事物的美好；

在無助之處，看見救恩的源頭；以同情憐憫，看見每個苦痛；

瞭解他人所經歷，體會他人的感受。
